What is Osteopathy? . . .

Osteopathy is an established and recognised system of diagnosis and treatment which lays its emphasis on the mechanical structure of the body.

Osteopaths examine the structure and function of the body and how parts of the body (bones, joints, ligaments, discs, muscles, tendons and nerves) work together. A breakdown of the body’s normal working patterns can result in unnecessary stress and pain but an osteopath can encourage the body to repair itself by using safe, natural, hands-on methods of treatment.

All our osteopaths are members of the General Osteopathic Council.
